Meet our student representative team
The Afghan Student Council in Turkey consists of more than 40 active members, each representing Afghan students in different cities across Turkey. These members play a crucial role in bridging students and the council's leadership, representing 40 cities that encompass a total of 43 universities throughout Turkey. This diverse composition has enabled the council to maintain broad academic, cultural, and social diversity while providing genuine representation for Afghan students. Council members address and follow up on important student issues through regular meetings, programs, and joint activities. Official council meetings are held at least twice a year, conducted both in-person and online. These sessions provide opportunities for discussion, problem-solving, proposing initiatives, and making important decisions to improve the conditions of students. The role of council members extends beyond representation alone. Working in collaboration with committees and executive officials, they actively participate in project design and implementation, organizing seminars, conferences, and cultural activities. This structure has made the Afghan Student Council in Turkey not just a coordinating institution, but a powerful resource for advancing the academic, cultural, and social development of Afghan students.
